Living healthy and safe with Cedir

CEDiR production uses only lead-free enamels. The work cycle is concluded with firing at 1200° C, a temperature which generates chemical reactions among the constituent components of the mix and the enamels. The consequences of these chemical reactions are:

  • a very compact, hard and tough tile structure;

  • immobilisation of the metals in the enamels, the former becoming inert thus excluding transfer phenomena and dispersal into the environment under normal conditions of use.

  • environment

    CEDiR tiles are inert to fire, they neither burn nor get damaged by exposure to flames and therefore protect the structures they are laid on. They do not aid the feeding and spreading of flames and do not emit toxic substances or harmful gases of any kind.
